Indeterminate for UIP
When HRCT features demonstrate fibrosis but do not meet UIP or probable UIP criteria, indeterminate for UIP should be assigned.45 Here, ground glass attenuation is accompanying reticulation in both subpleural and peribronchovascular distribution, and the right lung bases are affected more than the left. This is inconsistent with UIP, but not suggestive of an alternative diagnosis.
