Axial Reconstruction

This video shows a full high-resolution axial reconstruction of the lungs. The standard reconstruction for CT is axial reconstruction, which evaluates the distribution of disease from apex to base, and whether it is predominantly peripheral or central. These reconstructions give limited information in terms of the upper and lower distribution, which can be more readily evaluated with coronal or sagittal reconstructions.
