A Closer Look at Interstitial Lung Disease
The coronal image helps us evaluate the distribution of disease from upper to lower lung. We can see now that while there is disease in the upper lobes, it clearly is a lower lobe-predominant process that is relatively symmetric. There is visible honeycomb change with peripheral-adjacent architectural distortion, traction bronchiectasis in multiple areas, and diffuse ground glass throughout the lungs.
