In this case, is the CT enough to make the diagnosis? Here, we focus on the constellation of physical and radiologic findings, from osteoarthritis and the mechanic's hands, coupled with a positive serology, suggesting a non-idiopathic cause such as connective tissue disease. And so in a patient like this we would focus on a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.
