The coronal images clearly show that this is a lower lobe-predominant disease with both peripheral and central bronchovascular involvement. In addition to areas of fibrosis, architectural distortion, traction bronchiectasis, and regional volume loss, there are areas of ground glass opacity without fibrosis. Interestingly, the dilated esophagus can also be seen in this coronal cut.
